During the cooler months, 2-3 days is recommended. Summer months only 24 hours.
The film will be applied to the inside of the glass. So, an exterior wash is fine to do at anytime. If you are looking to do a full detail or inside/outside wash, please wait about 2 days.
If your vehicle is a 4 door sedan, coupe, or pick-up truck, removing any car seat/s would be a great help. This will allow easy access to the rear window for installation.
We do clean each window thoroughly, but if the vehicle is rather dirty, (especially during monsoon season) a pre-wash would be recommended to help eliminate dust/dirt contaminants.

Ammonia free cleaner and a soft cloth. We personally use micro-fiber towels and water with just a little bit of soap added. If you use a pre-mixed solution or spray, just be sure it says "tint safe" or "ammonia free" on the label and you'll be good!
Right away! Just be sure to leave those windows up for 1-3 days, depending on the climate.
